Overview

The University of the West of England (UWE) is one of Britain's most enterprising universities with a consistently very strong graduate employment record. It is also at the hub of some dynamic and engaging partnerships, which are having a big impact on the world around us and providing outstanding learning for students. UWE has nearly 30000 students and more than 3000 staff. With an annual budget of ?220 million, it is the largest provider of higher education in the south west of England, and has an expanding international profile.
