Overview

Curtin is Western Australia`s largest university and offers courses in science and engineering, health sciences, business, humanities and Indigenous studies. In addition to its main campus in Perth, Curtin has campuses in Sydney, Malaysia and Singapore, and several education centres throughout regional Western Australia. Drawn from more than 130 countries, Curtins international student population is the third largest of any Australian university. This cultural diversity adds a valuable dimension to campus life, and provides graduates with both global and local career opportunities. Curtins applied, industry-led courses equip graduates with practical, work-ready skills. More than 2,300 research students benefit from Curtins research strengths, which include minerals and energy, ICT and emerging technologies, health, and sustainable development. The University is named after the former prime minister of Australia, John Curtin, who held office during World War II. Its values reflect those characterised by his leadership: integrity, respect, fairness and care.
